Terms of Use
Effective 5 November 2026. These terms govern your use of Emulsion Log, a film-photography log for Android, published by Loadcircle Ltd (England and Wales). By installing or using the app you agree to them.
The licence
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Emulsion Log on devices you own, through Google Play. Nothing in the app is sold to you except the licence.
Free and Pro
- Free: the whole log — every roll, every frame, every note, unlimited — plus CSV export, JSON backup and restore, with or without Pro.
- Pro (one-time purchase): the figures layer — stock, camera and month tallies — and the scan match that fills the contact sheet. No subscription.
Prices are set and shown by Google Play in your own currency. Purchases are handled by Google and subject to Play's terms.
Your record
The app is a personal log of your own shooting. Nothing in it is professional photographic advice, and nothing it records or computes is a promise about how a frame will come back from the lab — that is between you, the film and the light.
The log is yours
Your log lives on your device and is yours. We cannot read it, recover it, or restore it — export it from the Data tab if you want a copy. Android's cloud backup is switched off for this app, so the export is the copy. Scans you match are references to images you chose; if you move or delete those images, the app can no longer show them.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law Loadcircle Ltd is not liable for losses arising from use of the app, except where the law does not allow that exclusion.
